Mixteca

This series of drawings emerges from memories of the Mixteca landscapes encountered during a recent journey to Oaxaca (Mexico). Cactus fields unfold as fragments of a terrain both distant and deeply familiar. Part recollection, part tribute, the works return to these landscapes as a way of holding them—tracing a connection to a homeland that persists through memory and image.
